2025 NJ Diamond Gloves tournament begins Oct. 11

For the first time in several years, the NJ Diamond Gloves tournament will be held on a weekly basis, instead of on consecutive days.

The 2025 Diamond Gloves will kick off Saturday, October 11 at Legacy Boxing in Belleville, followed by another show on October 18 at Brunswick Boxing Stars in North Brunswick, an email confirmed on Saturday. Additional dates and locations may be added if necessary, with USA Boxing NJ stating that boxers must be available to box every weekend with the possibility of Fridays and Sundays as well.

The tournament is open to New Jersey residents who are members of the New Jersey LBC 07, with no weight allowances being made for any fights. Registration will be done exclusively on USABoxing’s Webpoint site, and is open now through noon on September 26. There will be no late registrations allowed, with a non-refundable entry fee of $20.

There will be ten weight classes contested for both men and women, with 106, 112, 119, 125, 132, 143, 154, 165, 176 and 176+ for women, and 110, 121, 132, 143, 154, 165, 176, 187, 198 and 198+ for men. Open class and novice competitions are open for men and women, plus youth divisions (ages 17 and 18).
