On The Line documentary screening and Q&A

A special screening of the boxing documentary On the Line will take place May 28 from 7-9 p.m. at Southampton Playhouse, featuring a live Q&A with members of the film’s cast and production team.

Directed by Francesco Saviano and produced by Vincent Piazza and Adam Abdalla, On the Line was filmed over the course of a decade and follows the lives and careers of professional boxers Will “Power” Rosinsky, Danny “The Miracle Man” Jacobs and the late Patrick Day as they pursue world championship dreams in New York’s boxing scene. The film also features a few appearances by NJ Boxing News’ Ryan Songalia.

Set against the backdrop of New York City gyms and fight culture, the documentary explores the sacrifices, setbacks and realities fighters face both inside and outside the ring while climbing through the professional ranks.

Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A featuring Saviano, Piazza, editor Marika Hacking and Rosinsky. Tickets are currently on sale for the event at Southampton Playhouse.
