Crossroads in Brick City

Newark’s Anthony “Big Back” Johns and veteran hometown favorite Michael “Slick” Anderson will headline RDR Promotions’ Crossroads in Brick City card on June 6 at Prudential Center.
Johns (11-1, 6 KOs) faces Mexico’s Angel Geovanny Meza Morales (11-4-3, 7 KOs) in an eight-round flyweight bout for the vacant IBF North American title, while Anderson (25-4-1, 19 KOs) meets Nimal Farmer (6-1-2, 4 KOs) in the eight-round welterweight main event.
The undercard features several New Jersey-based prospects and contenders, including heavyweight Norman Neely (17-1, 12 KOs) against unbeaten Kevin Nagle (11-0), middleweight prospect Famous Wilson (4-0, 2 KOs), unbeaten super lightweight Muadh Abdus-Salaam (4-0, 1 KO), and cruiserweight Ibrahima Fofana (2-0, 2 KOs). Also scheduled to appear are undefeated prospects Yoell Cooper and Kirc Bargamento.
